Professional Development Workshop Led by Louis Fantasia - Julius Caesar

Participants will engage in exercises and strategies to improve their students' achievement in core academic subjects (English, Social Studies and Drama) via collaborative class projects and individual performance assignments that will allow them to scaffold and interpret content information and critical ideas within and across area subject matters using Shakespeare’s texts and the history of Shakespeare's times and life to deepen their content mastery, while developing new teaching strategies. We expose teachers to Shakespeare plays in performance and create an environment for participating teachers to be able to meet District standards in an increasingly professional way.
